Who’s eligible
Girl child(ren) — max. 2 per family (twins on 2nd delivery relaxed) — resident of UP, family annual income below Rs 3 lakh.

How to apply
Online
- Visit mksy.up.gov.in and register as a new user with mobile number and OTP verification
- Fill the application form with girl child, parent, income and bank details
- Upload required documents (Aadhaar, birth certificate, income certificate, bank passbook)
- Submit; note your registration number for tracking
- Log in again at each subsequent life-stage (Class 1, 6, 9, 12/graduation) to claim the next instalment with updated proof

FAQs
Is there a family size limit?
Yes — the benefit is capped at a maximum of 2 girls per family, with an exception if twin girls are born in the second delivery.
