What it provides
Integrated support for women affected by violence — medical aid, police facilitation, legal counselling, psycho-social counselling and temporary shelter (up to 5 days) under one roof, in every district.

Women and girls (of all ages) affected by any form of violence, irrespective of caste, class, religion.
Documents required
- None required to access initial support — identity documents may be requested only if filing an FIR or claiming further benefits
How to apply
In-person / offline
- Walk in directly to the district One Stop Centre (usually located near/within the district hospital)
- Or call the Women Helpline 181 (or 112), which will connect you to the nearest OSC and can arrange transport/police assistance
- Centre staff will provide immediate support and guide you through medical, legal, police and counselling options based on your needs

Do I need to file a police complaint to use an OSC?
No — you can access medical, legal and counselling support at an OSC without filing an FIR; filing a complaint is entirely your choice.
